Welcome to Lloyd's Cycling Club

About Us

The Lloyd's Cycling Club (LCC) was formed in 2009 by a group of enthusiastic cyclists from the Lloyd's insurance market.  Whilst membership to the LCC is primarily focused on the Lloyd's market and associated industries, we are open to anyone (age 18 or over) via a club member introduction.

Our focus is on market networking and creating new friendships by having fun day rides and multi-day tours.

No one rides alone!

2024

Welcome to our site where we will post up key information on the Club and Club events.

Please find below details for our expected day rides - so please put these in your diaries.

Club members have been invited to join our 2024 tour - we are riding the length of Portugal along the N2.  If you are a club member and have not received an email and would like to hear more - please do email the club using lloydscycling@gmail.com

Happy safe cycling.

Day Rides

Club day rides take place from April to September and are mid-week events organised by LCC members for LCC members and their guests.  The ride distance will typically be 100km, with shorter options sometimes available. There is always a lunch stop and sometimes an additional coffee stop or two.  Start and finish locations are rotated around the counties bordering London, so that every member can hopefully make it to at least one or two rides a year.  Please register your interest via the club email address lloydscycling@gmail.com

LCC Tours

The LCC has a history of touring, often to raise money for charity, starting in June 2009 with the Lands End to John O'Groats challenge.

We are very thankful to the various companies that have sponsored us over the years and we have raised in excess of £250,000 for various charities.

These rides are typically self organised and are supported by our wonderful volunteers from the market who make these tours possible and all the more rewarding.
